The X-SENSE XS0D-MR is a smoke alarm supplied with the SBS50 base station, adding a connected layer of protection to your home. It uses photoelectric sensing to detect smoke from smouldering fires and sounds an audible alarm of at least 85 dB, together with a visual signal, so the warning can be heard even in larger rooms. The built-in Test/Hush button lets you check the unit and temporarily silence an alarm.

With the base station, the alarm connects to the X-Sense Home Security app, which sends push notifications about detected hazards, device status or a low battery. Using the Link+ Pro system, up to 24 compatible units can be linked into one wireless alarm network, so when one detects smoke, all connected alarms sound together. This is particularly useful in larger houses and multi-storey homes.

The detector can be fixed with screws or magnetic adhesive pads. It runs on a replaceable CR123A 3 V DC lithium battery, which can last up to 5 years.
