    This heat-shrink protective sleeve is designed to protect spliced optical fibre or copper cable joints. The 45 mm sleeve includes a 0.75 mm steel strengthening rod that helps keep the splice straight and prevents it from bending.

    Before shrinking, the sleeve has an inner diameter of 1.2 mm, and after shrinking its outer diameter is 2.0 mm. A minimum temperature of 110 °C is needed to seal it, and the maximum heating time is 60 seconds.

    The sleeves comply with the UL224, MIL-I-23053, GR-1380-CORE and RoHS standards. The pack contains 100 sleeves.
