The IP8172P is a 5-second full HD camera with fixed optics, thanks to which we get a high-quality image. It supports H.264, MPEG4 and JPEG compression technologies, which can be used to significantly reduce the file size and the required bandwidth without degrading the quality. It has a P-iris lens, which, with the help of software, can automatically control the opening and closing of the lenses in response to changes in light conditions. The images are sharper, more contrasty and have a greater depth of field. The latter is important when objects at different distances from the camera have to be observed simultaneously, for example in the case of long corridors or underground parking garages. The IP8172P has a focus assist button, which can be used to set the focus even more precisely, taking advantage of the fine tuning, thus helping to produce a more accurate and clear image. Real day/night camera with a removable IR cut filter, with which we get a clear picture 24 hours a day. The camera has a WDR function, which can be used to compensate for the background light. This function is very important when the light comes from the background of the observed area. The IP8172P has an ePTZ function, which allows you to move the camera remotely without physically moving it. Other important features of Vivotek IP8172 include: the possibility of using an SD/SDHC card (for local storage), BNC analog output, PoE (Power over Ethernet) 802.3af compatibility, free 32-channel software.
