Viticulture Essential Edition is a strategic worker placement board game for 1 to 6 players, in which everyone runs a Tuscan winery. The aim is to organise grape growing, winemaking and sales, and to reach 20 victory points before your rivals. Because every location has limited space, deciding where to place your workers is the heart of the game.

Play follows the seasons: in spring you plan, in summer and autumn you work, and in winter you rest and develop your estate. The box contains 154 small cards, a main game board, 6 winery boards, 30 worker figures in six colours, 6 large workers, 48 wooden buildings, coins, grape and wine markers, and a detailed rulebook.

Recommended for ages 12 and up, with a playing time of about 90 minutes. The game is intended for indoor play and the rules are in German.
