The Virtuos HT-880DPM is an industrial CCD 2D DPM (Direct Part Marking) barcode reader designed to read codes engraved, burned or etched directly onto metal surfaces. It is suited to healthcare, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, electronics and automotive environments.

Its 1280 x 800 px CMOS image sensor quickly and accurately decodes hard-to-read, blurred or crumpled codes. The reader processes 60 images per minute and aims at the code with a red cross laser. It supports all major 1D and 2D code types, including Data Matrix, QR Code and PDF417.

The flame-resistant ABS and polycarbonate housing carries an IP65 protection rating, providing full protection against dust and water. The device is drop-resistant from 2 metres. Its 3-metre connection cable has two USB plugs for a stable power supply. It is compatible with Windows 7 to 11, Linux, Android and Mac, and offers USB keyboard and serial port emulation.
