The Vertiv A2D-10 is an analog-to-digital converter that lets you connect a dry contact or a 0-10 V sensor to the RJ-12 environmental sensor port of a Vertiv Geist intelligent rack PDU. This allows additional environmental data to be included in the rack's monitoring without a separate device.
The converter passes the readings from the connected sensor to the rack PDU, which incorporates them into its monitoring. This makes it possible to capture conditions in the server cabinet or its surroundings and use them for analysis.
The package includes a 3-metre cable for the connection. It is an accessory and weighs 450 g.
