The VEO HD2 8x42 is a well-balanced, lightweight and durable carbon-composite binocular with HOYA extra-low dispersion (ED) glass that minimizes chromatic aberration and improves color resolution and contrast.

Available in 8x42 and 8x42 models, the full-size Vanguard binoculars boast a carbon-infused housing that's 20% lighter than aluminum but significantly stronger. For increased protection, the VEO HD2 has a premium Mitsubishi Rubber Armor cover, making it easy to carry, comfortable to hold and reliable for years of use in the field.

Despite its light weight, the VEO HD2 binoculars do not compromise on performance. It features HOYA Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass and Vanguard's advanced 6-layer multi-coating on each lens to minimize chromatic aberration and deliver vivid, accurate colors to the eye. The seventh super-hard, scratch-resistant, waterproof and oil-resistant membrane on the lens elements for enhanced protection.

In order to ensure perfect focus for both eyes, the right eye also includes an easily adjustable, fixable diopter, thus ensuring perfect results. Thanks to the locking mechanism, you don't have to constantly reset the setting, so you can focus on your subject instead.

Three-stage screw-on eyecups allow you to perfectly customize the fit to your personal preferences, ensuring a precise and comfortable fit every time you put them on.

Although the VEO HD2 telescope frames are designed to be lightweight, they are just as resistant to the elements. These 100% waterproof (IPX7) and fogproof binoculars are always with you, whether on a perfect sunny day or facing the challenges of nature.

Vanguard VEO HD2 binoculars also come with a lightweight and convenient neoprene pouch that can be placed to the side or packed in one of our premium travel bags.

In addition, you get a comfortable neck strap to keep the optics close at hand when birdwatching, scouting or sightseeing, as well as protective covers for both the eyepiece and the objective.

With the optional BA-185 Binocular Tripod Adapter (sold separately), you can mount the VEO HD2 binoculars on a tripod and eliminate hand movement, especially for longer periods of time, or adjust the binoculars to get closer to the birds in your own garden.

The VEO PA-62 (sold separately) allows you to record with a smartphone, which fits almost any smartphone up to 90mm wide and has a Bluetooth remote control that can be used with iOS or Android smartphones.
