In Hajsza, we can be part of an exciting battle that will determine the outcome of the Second World War.

September 1939: The commander of the German heavy cruiser Admiral Graf Spee, Hans Langsdorff, is ordered to sink as many British cargo ships as possible in the South Atlantic. Its purpose is to intercept ships crossing the Atlantic and prevent shipments from reaching the UK and other destinations.

In the first months, the plan works: within a few weeks, the Admiral Graf Spee sinks 9 cargo ships and sends almost 50,000 gross register tons to the seabed. This gigantic loss puts enormous pressure on the army headquarters in Whitehall, London. In order to best protect the cargo ships, the Admiralty sends several fighter groups (3 battleships, 4 aircraft carriers and 16 cruisers) to locate and destroy the Admiral Graf Spee.

The Chase is an asymmetric duel game where one player controls the British Royal Navy while the other player represents the German Kriegsmarine. Both players are driven by different goals. To win, the German side must successfully hide from the British and sink five cargo ships. Meanwhile, the British must pursue the Admiral Graf Spee and defeat the Germans in a final battle. The winner of the battle wins the game. Will the Royal Navy be able to take advantage of their numerical superiority, or will it be the Kriegsmarine who will succeed in defeating their rival with their cunning and sophisticated strategy?
