Product description

The UNI-T UT691-10 is a compact visual fault locator designed for locating faults in fibre optic systems, identifying fibres and carrying out routine maintenance tasks. The device emits visible red light at a wavelength of 650 ± 10 nm and offers two laser modes, so its operation can be matched to the type of task at hand.

The laser delivers an output power of at least 10 mW and works on fibre optic sections up to 8 to 10 km long. A universal 2.5 mm FC connector, along with continuous and pulsed modes, makes daily diagnostics straightforward. The non-slip housing with IP54 protection rating and compact design make the unit well suited to field work.

A 3.7 V, 1050 mAh lithium-polymer battery provides more than 7 hours of operation. Additional features include a battery level indicator, an LED torch and an adjustable automatic shut-off after 15 minutes. The unit weighs 62 g and measures 130 × 38 × 27 mm. The package includes a fault finder and a user manual.
