UGEARS Big Ben mechanical wooden model

The UGEARS Big Ben is a wooden mechanical model kit that recreates the famous London clock tower at a scale of 1:530. The kit consists of 63 parts and is assembled without glue or chemicals. According to the manufacturer, assembly takes about one hour.

Completed in 1859 in the Gothic Revival style, the tower was the largest and most accurate four-faced clock tower in the world when it was unveiled. Its facades are decorated with shields bearing the coat of arms of the United Kingdom, and four smaller bells chime the "Westminster Quarters" melody every quarter hour.

The model works well as a decorative piece for a home or office, and as a rewarding building project for teenagers and adults. Weighing 150 g, it is lightweight and intended for indoor use.
