Ubiquiti Networks introduces the EdgeRouter 4, the next generation router for the EdgeMAX platform. EdgeRouters combine portable-class reliability with enterprise-grade features in a compact and affordable unit.

The EdgeRouter offers 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports and an SFP port for fiber connectivity.

The EdgeRouter 4 is capable of transmitting 3.4 million packets per second and has a line speed of 4 Gbps.

The protected and intuitive graphical interface, EdgeOS, EdgeRouters can be easily configured with the routing, security and monitoring functions necessary for the effective operation of the network. For advanced network professionals, the built-in CLI provides quick and direct access using familiar commands.

Even greater convenience and flexibility is provided by the UNMS application, which enables remote management of the EdgeRouter from a mobile device.
