The Thermaltake AX700 is a large Big Tower case finished in black steel, built for high-end desktop systems. It accommodates XL-ATX motherboards and also supports ATX, E-ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX, SSI-CEB and SSI-EEB boards. A side window panel shows off the interior, while the mesh front panel promotes good airflow.

The front panel offers four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port and an audio jack. Graphics cards up to 630 mm long fit inside, alongside ten expansion slots and two 5.25-inch external drive bays. Dust filters protect the top, right side and front.

Cooling options are extensive. Three 140 mm fans fit at the front, four 140 mm or 120 mm at the top, one 140 mm or 120 mm at the rear, two 140 mm at the bottom and eight 140 mm on the right side. Water cooling is also supported. The case measures 320 × 645 × 685 mm and offers an internal volume of 141 litres.
