TERRAMASTER F6-424

The TerraMaster F6-424 is a NAS file server with six bays for HDDs or SSDs, built around a quad-core Intel N95 processor running at up to 3.4 GHz and 8 GB of DDR5 memory at 4800 MHz. It is designed as a central storage system, a small business application server or a multimedia hub for the home. According to the manufacturer, total capacity can be expanded to up to 132 TB.

Two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports handle large files and multiple users at the same time. Link Aggregation combines both interfaces for a network bandwidth of up to 5 Gb/s. Two M.2 NVMe slots can be used as an SSD cache to speed up access to frequently used data. The unit supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and 10, JBOD, and Btrfs or EXT4 file systems.

Snapshots, centralized backup, CloudSync, AES-256 encryption and a built-in firewall help protect your data. Tool-free drive bays with a Push-Lock mechanism make swapping drives quick and simple. The package includes the NAS, power adapter, power cable, an RJ-45 network cable, a quick guide and mounting screws.
