The TerraMaster D9-320 is a DAS enclosure with nine bays for 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch HDDs as well as 2.5-inch SSDs. It is designed for users who need to store large volumes of data or expand their storage capacity, such as professionals working with 4K and 8K content or people building their own server or extensive media archive. Each bay operates independently by default, and RAID configurations can be set up with external software. With 24 TB drives, the enclosure offers up to 216 TB of total capacity.

The connection is made via USB 3.2 Gen 2 with up to 10 Gb/s. With several SSDs installed, the manufacturer quotes read and write speeds of up to 1016 MB/s and 960 MB/s respectively. An additional USB host port allows further storage devices to be daisy-chained without occupying extra ports on the computer. Each bay has its own power switch, and automatic power-on recovery supports continuous operation.

The enclosure is compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux as well as Unraid, TrueNAS and Proxmox, and supports NTFS, APFS, exFAT, FAT32 and EXT4. Three fans and four temperature sensors manage cooling at a noise level of 22.5 dB(A). The package includes two cables with USB-C and USB-A connectors, a power supply, mounting screws and a quick installation guide.
