This gluten-free light blue buttercream mix from Tasty Me is designed for filling, covering and decorating cakes, as well as for topping cupcakes. Supplied in a 200 g pack, it is free from hydrogenated fats, so it suits buyers who want a gluten-free option for home baking.

Preparation is simple. Mix the contents of the pack with 100 ml of water and 100 ml of semi-skimmed milk, then whisk in a stand mixer on high speed for 3 to 4 minutes. One whole pack is needed to coat a complete cake, while half the quantity is enough to decorate 24 muffins. If needed, chill the cream to firm it up, flavour it to taste, and use it within about two days.
