Takács Viktória - Farsangi mese
3 137 Ft
Product description
In January, the holiday lights and warmth are replaced by greyness, cold and wandering minutes. As the days go by boringly, Simon's grandfather slowly loses his good humor, but his family and the neighbor Aunt Lulu figure out how to cheer him up. Recalling the old memories, they organize a traditional carnival parade, where the small and large of the village revive the old customs. We can find out what the Day of the Epiphany or the tail of the carnival mean, who the shapers are, and what the wire-tosser used to do. In the end, it will even be revealed whether the carnival donut really has magical powers.
Acquainting children with domestic customs, famous days, and special traditions is a very important task - Viktória Takács' beautifully illustrated story was born in the spirit of this commitment. In the series Our Traditions, he has so far covered such holidays as Nativity, the Mohács bus tour, Easter, Pentecost, Lucázáz, harvest...
