The sibyls were originally a collection of prophecies written in Greek hexameters, which came from the Hellespontian sibyl who lived in the time of Solon and was buried in Gergis in Troy. Over the centuries and millennia, the place of the sibyls was replaced by a profaned device, which we call a fortune-telling card, the Sibyl fortune-telling card, but the gypsy card and the Tarot card also serve this purpose.
