Product description
The Synology RackStation RX1225RP is a storage expansion unit for RackStation systems that adds twelve additional drive bays to compatible NAS devices, namely the RS3626xs, RS4826xs+ and RS2825RP+. It connects to these systems without the need to shut them down.
Its modular drive bays and system fans can be replaced quickly, which keeps the impact of maintenance on service availability to a minimum. The redundant power supply keeps data continuously online even if one power supply fails.
The unit supports 3.5-inch SATA HDDs and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs with hot-swap replacement and management through Synology DSM RAID. Designed for installation in a 19-inch rack cabinet, it measures 2U (88 x 430.5 x 692 mm) and weighs 13.9 kg.
