      The Synology RackStation RS826+ is a compact 1U rack server designed for centralised data storage and management. It accommodates up to four 3.5-inch SATA hard drives or 2.5-inch SATA SSDs and fits into a standard server rack. The system is powered by an AMD Ryzen V1500B quad-core processor with eight threads at 2.2 GHz, paired with 4 GB of DDR4 ECC SODIMM memory. Two memory slots allow expansion up to 32 GB.

      The unit runs Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) and supports Synology Hybrid RAID, RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 and JBOD configurations. Connectivity includes four 1GbE RJ-45 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and a PCIe Gen3 x8 expansion slot. A USB Type-C port allows connection of the RX426 expansion unit, raising storage capacity to eight drives.

      With sequential read and write speeds exceeding 2000/1300 MB/s, the RS826+ suits small and medium-sized businesses as well as branch offices. It weighs 6.4 kg and measures 44 x 480 x 492.6 mm.
