The Synology DS1525+ is a five-plate NAS system that is an ideal choice for home offices, creative workshops or small businesses. The device uses a quad-core AMD Ryzen V1500B processor that already receives ECC memory (8GB by default, up to 32GB) and has two built-in 2.5GBBE network ports. This allows for excellent data transmission speeds, up to 1181MB/s writing/reading, while optionally expanding to 10gbe.

The system has an internal storage space for five SATA drives (up to 100TB raw capacity), while two M.2 NVME Slotota offers SSD cache or full flash based storage.

The connection is increased by USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and a PCIie Gen3 X2 enlargement, which allows you to develop the system with 10GBE. It is particularly worth mentioning the two USB-C Uplink ports, which can be used to expand up to two DX525 units with an additional ten discs-a total of up to 300TB of raw capacity.
