SWITCH BOT Presence sensor 3-in-1 PIR mmWave W820000

The SwitchBot Presence Sensor 3-in-1 combines a PIR motion sensor, a mmWave radar and a light sensor in one compact device. It detects not only movement but also the presence of a person who is sitting or lying still, such as while reading, working at a desk or bathing. This keeps lights on as long as someone is in the room, instead of switching off just because you have stayed still for a moment. The wide 120° field of view covers up to 8 metres for moving people and up to 5 metres for stationary ones.

A strong magnetic base lets you mount the sensor flexibly on a shelf, desk or metal surface and adjust its angle to suit the room. The IPX5 rating makes it suitable for use in the bathroom as well. According to the manufacturer, a single battery replacement lasts up to two years. Simple automations work without a hub, and the sensor can also connect to the SwitchBot Hub for more complex scenes.

An AI-based self-learning function, activated with one click, filters out interference from fans and air conditioners to reduce false triggers. The sensor does not store data in the cloud or record images, and it suits bathrooms, living rooms, home offices and reading corners alike.
