    The SUNTREE SUP1-40 is a four-pole T2 surge protective device for AC power systems. It offers a nominal discharge capacity of 20 to 40 kA and protects networks with a rated operating voltage of 380 V/220 V. The maximum continuous operating voltage is 420 V.

    The voltage protection level is no more than 2.8 kV, the maximum discharge current (8/20 µs) is 60 kA and the nominal discharge current is 100 kA. A response time of no more than 25 ns ensures fast reaction to overvoltage events. The device is tested according to IEC 61643-1 and GB 18802.1.

    The terminals accept copper conductors up to 35 mm². The recommended conductor cross-sections are 16 mm² for solid and 25 mm² for stranded copper wire. The operating temperature range is -40 °C to +85 °C.
