SUNSUN UV-C water purifier lamp 2x55W CUV-6110

The SUNSUN CUV-6110 is a UV-C water clarifier lamp with two 55 W tubes and a combined output of 110 W, designed for garden ponds, ornamental ponds and aquariums. It helps reduce the growth of algae, bacteria and mould spores that affect water quality. Disinfection works through UV-C radiation without chemicals, which is gentle on fish, plants and the pond's natural biological balance.

Inside the housing, a spiral insert guides the water around the UV-C lamps, extending the water's exposure to the radiation. The manufacturer states a flow rate of up to 8000 l/h at a maximum operating pressure of 1.0 bar, with first effects visible after about 14 days of operation. Universal adapters allow connection of hoses with diameters of 25, 32, 38 or 50 mm.

For best results, the lamp can be combined with a biological filter. According to the manufacturer, it is suited to ponds up to 120,000 litres, fish ponds up to 60,000 litres and koi aquariums up to 36,000 litres.
