SUNSUN UV-C lamp 55W CUV-755

The SUNSUN CUV-755 is a 55 W UV-C lamp designed for ponds and water features of up to 65,000 litres. It is rated for a maximum flow rate of 8,000 l/h and a pressure of up to 1 bar. As water flows past the UV-C radiation, the growth of free-floating algae that causes cloudiness and green discolouration is kept in check. Under the radiation the algae clump together into larger particles, which are easier to remove with a mechanical filter.

The stainless steel housing reflects UV-C radiation, and the internal flow design sets the water in motion as it passes through the unit. The lamp has no internal spiral coil, which makes it easier to keep clean and reduces the build-up of debris. Universal connectors allow it to be fitted to a range of pond filter systems.

The lamp improves water clarity without chemicals, and the radiation acts only inside the unit on the water flowing through it, so it is safe for fish and plants. For the best results, use it together with a suitable biological and mechanical filter.
