SUNSUN Pond bio pressure filter 11W UV CPF-5000

The SUNSUN CPF-5000 is a compact pressure filter with an integrated 11 W UV-C steriliser, designed for small ponds, garden pools and aquariums. It helps keep water clear and limits the growth of algae that cause green water. According to the manufacturer, the unit suits fish ponds up to 4 m³ and fish-free ornamental ponds up to 8 m³, with flow rates of up to 9,000 l/h.

The filter combines mechanical and biological filtration in a single unit. Its filter cartridges trap fine suspended particles, sediment and organic debris, while providing a habitat for beneficial bacteria that break down organic compounds. This makes it easier to maintain the biological balance of the pond, creating suitable conditions for fish and plants.

The 11 W UV-C lamp supports the filtration by curbing algae growth in the water column. Under ultraviolet exposure, algae clump together into larger particles that the filter system then captures. A convenient cartridge cleaning system and a clogging indicator make it straightforward to monitor the unit's operation. The pressure design allows it to be partly concealed at the pond's edge, helping preserve the look of the garden.
