SUNSUN External aquarium filter with 9W UV lamp HW404B

The SUNSUN HW404B is an external aquarium filter with a built-in 9 W UV-C lamp, designed for freshwater and saltwater aquariums of up to about 600 litres. The unit delivers a flow rate of 2000 l/h and features a spacious 19-litre housing. Its four-stage filtration removes debris and helps keep conditions in the tank stable.

The system combines mechanical and biological filtration and also allows for chemical filtration. The package includes filter sponge, bio blocks, filter wool and ceramic rings, which provide a large surface area for beneficial bacteria. A pre-filter stage catches coarser particles, extending the life of the other filter media and simplifying maintenance.

The built-in UV-C lamp irradiates the flowing water, limiting the growth of algae and harmful microorganisms. A hand pump makes the initial start-up easier, while a quick-connect multifunction valve lets you disconnect the hoses without draining the system. The hose connections rotate through 360 degrees, making it simple to install the filter below or beside the aquarium, and the rubber feet help dampen vibration during operation.
