The SteelSeries Rival 3 Wireless Gen 2 in white is a wireless gaming mouse with an optical sensor, six buttons and a weight of 83 g. It connects either through the included 2.4 GHz USB dongle for a low-latency gaming link or via Bluetooth to a range of devices. The sensor offers up to 18,000 DPI at 400 IPS with a maximum acceleration of 40 g, and the click latency is rated at 1.9 ms. RGB gaming lighting is built in.

The precision mechanical switches are designed to keep a crisp, consistent click from the first to the 60-millionth press. Its 100% PTFE feet are meant to glide smoothly across the mousepad. According to the manufacturer, battery life reaches up to 200 hours, or up to 450 hours with Bluetooth, and an AAA battery can be used to lower the weight further.
