Product description
The StarTech.com VDSL2 network extender lets you extend a network up to 1 km over Cat5e or better UTP cable, or over single-pair (or better) telephone wire. Over shorter distances it can reach up to 300 Mbps aggregate throughput. It supports the VDSL2 35b, 30a and 17a profiles along with ITU-T G.993.5 G.Vectoring and G.INP technologies.
DIP switches let you tailor the installation to your setup, with selectable Master or Remote mode, symmetric or asymmetric operation, G.INP or Interleave mode, and fine-tuning of SNR with High and Low settings. LED indicators show the LAN speed, link status and operating mode at a glance.
The package includes two extenders and two power supplies. The units can be wall-mounted using the included mounting kit or placed on a shelf or desk. In CPE (RT) mode the extender is compatible with third-party VDSL2 IP DSLAMs and supports 802.1Q VLAN tag transparency.
