This adapter gives you access to M.2 NVMe and 2.5" or 3.5" SATA SSDs and hard drives through a single 10 Gbps USB-C or USB-A connection. It suits data transfer, recovery and drive upgrades from a laptop or workstation. Reading and writing can happen at the same time, which speeds up data transfers.
The adapter comes with an integrated USB-C cable and a USB-A adapter. With M.2 NVMe drives, write speeds of up to 700 MB/s are possible, while 2.5" and 3.5" SATA drives connect via SATA III at 6 Gbps. M.2 SATA drives are not supported.
Weighing 120 g, the lightweight, portable unit fits easily into any IT toolkit. A single 2.5" SATA or M.2 NVMe drive runs on USB bus power, while 3.5" drives require the included universal power adapter.
