    This compact StarTech.com adapter links a USB-A port to a USB-C connection. You can use it to plug a USB-C cable into a USB-A port, or to convert a USB-A port into a USB-C connector. Measuring just 3 cm long and weighing 6 g, its slim design leaves neighbouring ports uncovered and keeps your setup tidy.

    The adapter supports data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps, allowing fast file copying and data exchange. When connected to a powered USB-A source, such as a wall charger, it delivers up to 5V/900mA for charging USB-C devices. Please note that USB-C video output and Power Delivery are not supported.

    The adapter works with all major operating systems and requires no driver installation, so it is ready to use straight away. A durable PVC housing protects it from everyday wear, while the nickel-plated connectors provide reliable signal quality and a secure fit.
