This HDMI KVM expansion kit allows you to use a keyboard, mouse and monitor to remotely control any computer over an IP-enabled local area network (LAN). Combined with a KVM switch, the KVM console extender can be used for multiple computers. The expander has four USB ports that allow you to connect other USB devices in addition to the keyboard and mouse.
Supports UHD 4K 30Hz
The HDMI KVM extender provides stunning 4K UHD picture quality on the remote display, supporting a resolution of 3840x2160 at 30 Hz.
Carefree installation
With a transmitter and a receiver, the KVM extender provides a complete solution for endpoints that supports equipment for proper installation. In addition, it uses standard CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable, eliminating the cost and difficulty of special cables and allowing the use of existing network infrastructure.
The extender supports EDID transmission, ensuring that your computer automatically configures optimal screen settings over the LAN.
Versatile configuration settings
The extender uses the local intranet to connect computers to the remote workstation. You can connect additional receivers (sold separately) to distribute the HDMI signal to multiple displays in a remote location or link the source to create a video wall that extends a single video source across multiple screens.
For smaller applications, you can connect the transmitter and receiver units directly via CAT5 or CAT6 cable up to a distance of 100 meters.
Applications
- Control a computer (or multiple computers with KVM) from a remote location
- Distribute the video source from your computer(s) to multiple locations on your site
- Combine the video source of your computer(s) to create a remote video wall
