This magnetic privacy screen filter from StarTech.com is designed for 23.8-inch monitors with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Its Microlouver technology keeps screen content visible only to someone directly in front of the display, effectively blocking side viewing. The filter provides a 60-degree viewing angle (±30 degrees from centre), making it well suited to crowded or shared workspaces.

Both sides of the filter can be used. The matte side offers anti-glare protection with a surface resistant to fingerprints, scratches and dust, while the glossy side delivers more vivid colour reproduction. A light transmission of 62% helps maintain an comfortable screen brightness.

Magnetic mounting strips allow quick installation and removal, and the filter also fits thin monitor bezels. Within the 380 to 450 nm range it blocks 47% of blue light, which can help reduce eye strain during longer use. The design is TAA compliant.
