The STARTECH OS2MTP24BOFNP2M is a 2 m OS2 MTP/MPO fibre-optic patch cable for connecting network equipment through MPO ports. It has 24 single-mode OS2 9/125 µm fibres and female MPO connectors at both ends, providing a high-density connection for network links. Its yellow jacket makes the cable easy to identify in an installation.
Designed for 40G and 100G network connections between servers and switches, the cable uses Type B polarity to align the transmit and receive paths. Its OFNP plenum-rated jacket is intended for routing in building air-handling spaces, including above suspended ceilings.
