This LC/LC single-mode fiber optic coupler joins two LC duplex cables, extending a single-mode fiber connection. Its female-to-female design has a socket at each end and is compatible with OS1/OS2 fiber optic cables with a 9/125 µm core diameter. Ceramic ferrules inside align the fibers precisely, which helps preserve signal integrity and keeps insertion loss low.
The blue ABS housing is just 3 cm long. The coupler is tool-free, so it can be fitted quickly into fiber patch panels, rack cabinets and wall outlets.
