This flaked tuna in sunflower oil from STAR is a heat-treated, ready-to-eat canned product made from yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares). According to the ingredient list, the tuna content is 65%, with sunflower oil and edible salt as the only other ingredients. It contains no artificial additives.
The pack holds three 80 g cans, giving a net weight of 240 g. The pre-portioned format makes it easy to use in everyday cooking, with no need to store an opened can.
The tuna works well in salads, sandwiches and hot dishes. Per 100 g it provides 363 kcal, 18 g of protein, 32 g of fat (of which 5.4 g saturated) and 0.98 g of salt.
