The Melissa & Doug Scoop & Serve Ice Cream Counter is a 28-piece pretend play kitchen set that recreates a complete ice cream stand. It includes an ice cream counter, eight different scoops of ice cream, six toppings, two cones, a plastic cup, a portioning spoon, a serving spoon and a pair of tongs. A reusable ice cream menu card and six play money bills let children act out everyday shop scenarios.

Handling the scoops, toppings and cash helps young children develop fine motor skills, hand coordination and creativity. Serving customers and making change also supports social skills such as communication and taking turns.

The set is recommended for children from 36 months and is designed for indoor use. Its bright, appealing design keeps young players engaged for long periods of play.
