In the form of Until Dawn, Supermassive Games brings a new generation of interactive horror movies, thanks to the graphics capabilities of the PlayStation 4 and the Killzone Shadow Fall graphics engine. According to the story written by Larry Fessenden and Graham Reznick, eight friends gather at a mountain retreat, but they soon discover that they are not alone. A castle-hungry killer is hunting them, and it's up to the player to decide which of them survives the night. During the game, we will be able to control up to eight characters, and in the most tense moments, we will have to make decisions in a fraction of a second. In Until Dawn, like the butterfly effect, even the most seemingly insignificant decisions can have an impact on the fate of the characters, even at a much later stage of the story. For the most realistic effect, the characters are brought to life by Hollywood actors (including Hayden Panettiere, known from Heroes). Due to the many branches of the story, no two playthroughs will be the same, so it will be worth trying to save as many characters as possible.
