Product description
The Sony SRG-A40WC is a white 4K video conferencing camera with an 8-megapixel sensor, designed for video calls, podcasts and streaming. At its core is an automatic PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) function driven by built-in AI video analysis. The camera detects and tracks the presenter within its frame, including when several people appear in the shot, and keeps them smoothly framed regardless of posture or movement.
Three shooting modes are available: full body, waist-up and close-up. In each mode the subject can be positioned at centre, left or right, and the camera follows them in the chosen position. A built-in status lamp shows when the camera is recording, so the presenter always knows when they are on camera.
Other features include a wide-angle zoom lens, Clear Image Zoom, preset camera positions, a freeze-image function and manual adjustment of focus, exposure and white balance.
