SONY Saros (PS5)

Saros is the new third-person action game from Housemarque, the studio behind Returnal, and is exclusive to the PlayStation 5 console. Players step into the shoes of Arjun Devraj, a Soltari Enforcer stranded on the mysterious moon Carcosa, where a never-ending solar eclipse transforms both the world and its enemies.

The gameplay follows a roguelike structure: after each death, players get a fresh attempt, and some upgrades and abilities carry over, so the character grows stronger run after run. The shooting combat is complemented by a shield system and permanent progression, while the visuals are defined by the intense, particle-filled effects typical of the studio.

The game makes use of PlayStation 5 features, including the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback of the DualSense controller, fast loading times and 3D audio. This is the physical disc edition for the PS5 console.
