SONY E 50 mm F1.8 OSS black

The Sony E 50 mm F1.8 OSS in black is a fixed-focal-length lens for Sony E-mount cameras, offering a 50 mm focal length well suited to portraits and everyday photography. Its wide maximum aperture of F1.8 produces smooth background blur (bokeh), helping the subject stand out clearly against the background.

The built-in optical SteadyShot stabilisation helps you shoot sharp, steady images handheld, including in low light without flash. The quiet, fast autofocus uses a linear motor, which also makes it suitable for HD video. Direct manual focusing is available at any time for precise adjustment.

The lens has an aluminium alloy barrel that feels solid yet remains lightweight and easy to carry. Its seven-blade circular aperture renders soft, pleasing out-of-focus highlights. The optical design delivers clear images with minimal distortion and chromatic aberration.
