SONY ALC-SH128 Lens Hood ALCSH128.SYH

The Sony ALC-SH128 is a lens hood designed specifically for the Sony E PZ 18-105mm f/4 G OSS lens. Its purpose is to reduce unwanted light entering the lens and stray light glare by blocking light from outside the field of view, helping to keep images clearer and more contrasty.

Its petal-shaped design matches the lens's angle of view, so it does not vignette the image while still shielding the lens from side light. It also gives the front element physical protection against accidental knocks and scratches.

As an original Sony accessory, it offers a precise fit and straightforward attachment. The hood is lightweight at 26 g and compact, so it adds little bulk to your setup. When not in use, it can be reversed and mounted on the lens for more compact storage.
