SONY 50mm f/2.5 FE G lens SEL50F25G.SYX

The SONY FE 50mm F2.5 G is a compact, lightweight prime lens for both full-frame and APS-C cameras. Its aspherical and ED lens elements deliver high resolution, while the optimised circular aperture produces soft background blur and pleasing bokeh. At 186 g, it is easy to carry all day.

The 50mm focal length suits portraits, candid shots and video, with a minimum focus distance of 0.35 m. Two linear motors provide fast, precise and quiet autofocus, making the lens well suited to tracking moving subjects.

Despite its compact size, the lens includes a focus hold button, a focus mode switch and an aperture control ring. The aluminium finish gives it a premium look and durability, and its dust- and moisture-resistant construction makes it suitable for outdoor use.
