Sonoff ZBMini-L2, also known as ZBMINI Extreme, is a new version of the ZigBee smart relay that works only with a phase wire (i.e. without a neutral wire), which can be controlled remotely via the Internet when connected to a Zigbee Bridge. This is one of the smallest Zigbee smart switch modules, which can be easily inserted into the smallest 60 wall mounting box.

It also works with different types of external switches, such as two-position light switches, push-button wall switches, etc. Its main advantage is that no neutral wire is required, so it is easy to install and simple to use in most cases. It also supports alternative switching, so it can be used with two switches, for example, for stairwell lighting.

ZBMini-L2 is compatible with Sonoff Zigbee-WiFi gateways, Sonoff Zigbee Bridge and Sonoff Zigbee Bridge Pro, as well as the eWeLink app compatible SmartWise Zigbee Bridge Pro, which can also be connected to Ethernet. It is also supported by Sonoff's NSPanel Pro hub. If the module is connected to an eWeLink Zigbee gateway, the device can be controlled using the usual factory eWeLink platform and eWeLink app. Among the usual eWeLink functions, the current OFF/ON status, manual ON/OFF switching, and timings (timing, countdown timer, cycle control) are also available, but the pulse switching (inching) function is not available.

The small relay module is compatible with the Aeotec SmartThings hub, in which case it can be controlled using the SmartThing APP available for iOS and Android. Controlled on/off, timed off/on and many other functions are available in the SmartThings app.

It also works with some Zigbee gateways from Amazon Alexa and other standard Zigbee 3.0 hubs.

The ZBMINI-L2 version is the version of the relay that does not require the connection of a neutral wire, which only works with a phase wire.

The ZBMINI-L2 relay must be installed behind the wall switch, and the min. Suitable for switching a 3W lamp, max. power 6A. It does not require an anti-flicker module for its operation.
