SONOFF S60 (TPF) WiFi smart plug with power consumption measurement

The SONOFF S60 is a Wi-Fi smart plug with energy monitoring, controlled through the eWeLink app. It turns an ordinary EU Type F wall socket into a smart outlet in a few moments. Using an iOS or Android smartphone with an internet connection, you can switch the socket on or off remotely and set up recurring or one-time schedules.

Compared with its predecessor, the S60 also measures power and energy consumption and offers partial surge protection. Consumption data is recorded hourly and stored for six months in the eWeLink cloud, where it can be viewed as a graph in the app or downloaded. The app shows current amperage, voltage and power, as well as energy use for the day, the previous day and the month in kWh.

Automations can trigger actions when power, daily or monthly consumption exceeds a set threshold, for example switching off the outlet and sending a notification. A physical button on the device allows manual operation. With a maximum load of 4000 W / 16 A, it can control higher-power appliances such as washing machines, irons or electric heaters, as long as their rating is respected.
