SMALLRIG NP-FZ100 USB-C camera battery with charge level indicator 5297

The SmallRig 5297 is a lithium-ion battery in the NP-FZ100 format for Sony cameras, and it charges directly through its built-in USB-C port. No separate charger is needed, as a power bank, wall adapter or car charger will do. It also remains compatible with standard Sony chargers.

Five LEDs on the side show the charge level at the press of a button, and a red warning light signals when the battery is running low. Its fully decoded chip is recognised by Sony bodies as original accessory, so no error messages appear.

The 2600 mAh cell with a nominal voltage of 7.2 V offers longer runtime for video recording and burst shooting. With a maximum input of 5 V/2 A via USB-C, the battery fully charges in about 2.5 hours. The fireproof ABS+PC housing has a matte finish and fits precisely into the camera's battery compartment.
