SMALLRIG Camera battery and charger set Sony NP-FZ100 5483

The SMALLRIG NP-FZ100 5483 is a battery and charger kit designed for compatible Sony cameras that use the NP-FZ100 battery. The set includes two 1940 mAh lithium-ion batteries rated at 7.2 V, a two-channel charger and a 60 W USB-C to USB-C cable. A built-in decoding system ensures compatibility, avoiding “incompatible battery” warnings and allowing the camera to display the battery level.

With two batteries, you have extra power for photo and video shooting, and a depleted battery can be swapped out quickly. The charger works with both batteries at the same time, each channel operating independently, and supports USB-C fast charging up to 22.5 W. Five LEDs per channel show the charge level in 20 percent steps, even when the charger is not connected to power.

The charger accepts USB-C power with PD 3.0, QC 2.0 and QC 3.0 support, so it can be powered by a suitable adapter, car charger or power bank. Temperature and voltage monitoring along with trickle charging help protect the cells during charging. The compact charger weighs 205 g and fits easily into a camera bag.
