The SkyRC MC5000 is a charger and analyzer for cylindrical batteries that not only recharges cells but also checks their condition and actual capacity. The unit supports many popular battery chemistries, including Li-ion, NiMH, NiCd, LiFe and NiZn cells, and offers extensive diagnostic functions along with precise control over the charging and discharging process. Its adjustable contacts accommodate popular sizes such as 18650, 21700, AA and AAA cells.

Each of the four bays works independently, so you can set individual parameters such as charge and discharge current for every battery. The large LCD screen displays voltage, current, capacity, and charging or discharging time. The charger also connects to a mobile app via Bluetooth, allowing you to adjust settings and monitor readings conveniently from your smartphone.

The capacity test measures the actual capacity of a cell, while the refresh mode helps restore the performance of older batteries. This makes it easy to assess which cells are still usable. The device is powered via USB-C.
