SILVERSTONE SST-RM43-324-RS black/red

The Silverstone SST-RM43-324-RS is a 4U rack-mount server chassis built from aluminium, plastic and 1.0–1.2 mm thick SPCC steel. It supports ATX, E-ATX, µATX, Mini-ITX, SSI-CEB and SSI-EEB motherboards and is rated for a load of up to 80 kg.

Storage capacity is substantial: twelve 3.5-inch hot-swap bays accommodate up to 24 SAS or SATA hard drives or SSDs in 2.5 or 3.5 inch sizes, which can be replaced without shutting down the system. The backplane supports SAS III/II/I and SATA III/II/I, with six mini-SAS HD SFF-8643 ports and SGPIO.

Cooling is handled by three pre-installed 120×38 mm PWM ball-bearing hot-swap fans, plus two 80 mm fans at the rear. The front panel provides two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports. The chassis measures 44.2×17.5×66 cm, weighs 16.8 kg and offers an internal volume of 51 litres.
