The SilverStone RM53-502 is a black rack-mount computer case built from steel, designed for professional server builds and workstation projects. It supports E-ATX, SSI-CEB and SSI-EEB motherboards, as well as Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX, in a 5U rack format.

Airflow is handled by two 80 mm fans at the front, with the option of one additional 80 mm fan or three 120 mm fans, plus a 140 mm fan at the rear. Water cooling can also be configured. Two external 5.25-inch drive bays and several internal positions for 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives provide generous storage options.

Front-panel connectivity includes two USB-A ports and one USB-C port, all USB 3.2 Gen 1. The case accepts PS2 (ATX) and SFX power supplies, as well as Mini-Redundant and 2U CRPS-Redundant configurations. A removable, lockable front bezel and eight full-size expansion slots complete the design.
