SHELLY Plus 1PM Wi-Fi smart relay with power consumption measurement

Shelly Plus 1PM is the new, improved version of Shelly's single-circuit current consumption meter smart relay, Shelly 1PM, released in autumn 2021. Like Shelly 1PM, Shelly PLUS 1PM is also equipped with a consumption meter.

Like all other Shelly products, it is directly connected to the WiFi router, no local center, hub or gateway (brdige) is needed for its smart control. Even if only 1 device can be installed independently to automate or measure the consumption of an electrical consumer or lighting, it is also a good choice as a complete system for converting an entire property that is newly built or about to be renovated into a smart home.

This is one of the smallest Wi-Fi devices for smart connection control and smart consumption measurement. Its small size allows you to install it either behind a standard light switch or outlet in the switch socket or in an electrical connection box, or even afterwards, and remotely control your lighting and other consumers connected to the outlet, as well as monitor their on/off status.

With the help of Shelly PLUS 1PM placed in the wall socket behind existing switches or sockets, we can remotely control our lighting or other consumers by keeping our existing switches and sockets, track their on/off status and power consumption, so the product is also ideal for retrofitting. Shelly Plus 1PM is widely used for controlling one-button light switches and sockets, its maximum power of 16A makes it suitable for controlling sockets as well.

The Shelly Plus 1PM relay - like other small Shelly smart relays - contains a switch input, i.e. when installed behind light switches, you can still use the wall light switch to switch on the lamp (or other consumer) and you can also switch on the controlled lamp or other devices remotely via WiFi tool, and we have several timings at our disposal. In the Shelly app, it is also possible to disable the switch - which can be useful in some rooms with small children - with such settings, the given relay can only be controlled from the app.

The relay is compatible not only with two-position switches, but also with rocker (or bell) switches. It is also suitable for connecting alternative and crossover switching.

With its auto-off function, it can also be set to pulse switching mode.

The Shelly PLUS 1PM relay switches the supply (110V-240V AC / 24V-240V DC) received for operation on its output (with a max. power of 16A), so this type is NOT suitable for voltage-free (so-called dry contact) switching!

Bluetooth pairing:

The new Shelly Cloud app is required for pairing, it is not compatible with the old Shelly Cloud app. Pairing is easier and faster than the Shelly 1PM thanks to the built-in Bluetooth chip.

More powerful processor, more functions:

Instead of the ESP8266 processor found in the Shelly 1PM, the PLUS products have an ESP32 processor, which contains a faster and more powerful CPU and twice as much memory, so the PLUS product line offers improved functions and faster operation.

Overheating and overvoltage protection:

The Shelly Plus 1PM is also equipped with overheating protection, overvoltage protection and overload protection, thus guaranteeing even safer operation even in the small space installed in wall sockets.
